The International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University is the oldest program of its type in the New York metropolitan area and one of the oldest in the United States. We are currently rated the number four hospitality management program in the country by The Best Schools.org, as well as being rated by the Princeton Review’s Gourman Report as one of the top fifteen 4-year hospitality management programs in the United States.
Fairleigh Dickinson University is located in the center of the world's largest hospitality/tourism market, the School has two main New Jersey campuses in Teaneck and Madison, and five off-site locations at Atlantic City, Jersey City, Mercer County, Ocean County, and Wyndham International in Parsippany. In addition to our New Jersey locations, we have an international site in Vancouver, British Columbia. The school is dedicated to utilizing all of the industrial and educational opportunities the area has to offer,for the best mobilization of students to assume key positions of responsibility in the hospitality and tourism industries.
In addition, the School has developed a broad network of programs and partnerships with schools and universities in the Caribbean, Europe, South America and Asia. This affords its students a vast array of international hospitality and tourism educational experiences, which is in line with the University’s and School’s missions as leaders in global education.
The University offers
- Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management
- Bachelor of Arts (Specialization in Hospitality or Culinary Arts) for adult learners
- Masters of Science degree in Hospitality Management Studies
- Combined B.S. /M.S. 5-year degree program.
The University has two very different campus environments in northern New Jersey. Both offer undergraduate and graduate studies in hospitality and restaurant management.
