DELUXE ROOM

ION Luxury adventure Hotel has 24 deluxe rooms.Each and every rooms are carefully decorated in inimitable Icelandic style with floor to ceiling windows.The guests can fully appreciate the magnificent view possible of the unique Nesjavellir Geothermal Power Plant or across the lava fields towards Thingvellir National Park.

Each deluxe room has beds that can be customised as twin or double as requested. The beds are hypoallergenic and supremely comfortable. Free WiFi is included both inside the rooms and in public area. Every room has fair-trade organic linens and a large bathroom with a powerful environmentally friendly shower and the following soaps and lotions from Sóley Organics

ION Luxury adventure Hotel has 21 standard rooms.Out of which 16 are twin rooms, 2 double rooms and 3 are single rooms. All rooms have a view of the unique Nesjavellir Geothermal Power Plant or across the lava fields towards Thingvellir National Park.

 ION’s Silfra Restaurant and Northern Lights Bar serves its customers with the fresh local ingredients served with a twist and accompanied by an array of beers, liqueurs and spirits from Iceland’s many microbreweries. Silfra restaurant embodies the local flavor and spirit of Iceland, offering seasonal and contemporary dishes with an emphasis on sustainable, farm-fresh ingredients from our close surroundings. Silfra is proud to serve modern nordic cuisine with purity, freshness, simplicity and ethics as a guiding light to represent everything that this part of the world has to offer above other. The restaurant’s name derives from the Silfra rift in Lake Þingvellir. The rift is the most popular diving site in Iceland, first of all because it the crack between the American and Eurasian continent and secondly because of the magnificent visibility that isn’t anywhere else under those circumstances.

Meeting and Weddings

MEETING ROOM 

Meeting room at ION provides the space upto 60 people.The meeting room is located on the ground floor and can be modified for lectures and meeting of any kind.The meeting room is facilitated with a good sound system,so the use of a microphone is an option.Large projector is also installed for the facilitation of the meeting hall so that can be plugged into a computer.More details about prices, meals and other meeting offers are located in the bar at the left side called Corporate Events.And the other facilitation of the guests are done as

 per the requests.

WEDDINGS

Experience the royal fairy wedding at ION.Ion Luxury Adventure Hotel is a perfect location for a wedding. In the unspoiled nature with lava fields as far as the eye can see seems to be an ideal setting for the perfect wedding. The hotel withholds everything to make a spectacular wedding ceremony and a fantastic wedding reception.

Wedding Ideas

Úlfljótsvatn Church is located only within a half an hour away and is a perfect location for the wedding ceremony. The church will be 100 years old in 2014 but is still in great shape and is more romantic than ever before.There is a sundeck at the east side of the Hotel that can host up to 200 people.
