Tips for Travelling |
1. Patience Is Important
Have Patience while you travel, don’t sweat the stuff you can’t control. Life is much too short to be angry & annoyed all the time.Don't worry and get along the flow of the time.Take an unplanned road trip over to the next town and explore. Sometimes freakouts happen regardless.Take and deep breathe and rejoice every moment.
2. Wake Up Early
Rising early creates enough time to plan your day ahead.Rise at sunrise to have the best attractions all to yourself while avoiding crowds. It’s also a magical time for photos due to soft diffused light, and usually easier to interact with locals. Sketchy areas are less dangerous in the morning too. Honest hardworking people wake up early; touts, scammers, and criminals sleep in.
3.Have an Extra Cash
Carrying the local currency is essential while travelling, atm and banks are not available everywhere and anytime you must to be certain about the cash you carry along with you. As it is known cash is king around the world. Some of my favorite stash spots include socks, under shoe inserts, a toiletry bag, around the frame of a backpack, even sewn behind a patch on your bag.
4.Observe Daily Life
Observing the life of people in the around by will make you get access to the peoples way of life.Feel free to walk and talk while you travel.Spend your time chatting with the locals whiIe spending your time in the park.Slow down your thoughts and pay close attention to the details around you. The smells, the colors, human interactions, and sounds. It’s a kind of meditation — and you’ll see stuff you never noticed before.
5.Pack Your Essentials
Before setting your journey make sure you check all your essentials.Recheck your bag to remind you of the essentials you need to carry along with you during your travel.Keep both digital and physical copies of your passport, visas, driver’s license, birth certificate, health insurance card, serial numbers, and important phone numbers ready to go in case of an emergency.
6.Take Lots Of Photos
Photo will be the best memory of the places you travel it crates the fresh memory of the places you visited. Don’t worry about looking like a “tourist”. Are you traveling to look cool? No one cares. Great photos are the ultimate souvenir.
7.Splurge A Bit
Travelling in a budget is essential but sometimes spending the planned budget without any plan will help you gain happiness enjoying the little times you purchase for yourself.Book a few days at a nice hotel, eat out at a fancy restaurant, or spend a wild night on the town.
8.Keep An Open Mind
Travelling to a new place involves moving out of your comfort zone.So keeping your mind open is essential. Don’t judge the lifestyles of others if different from your own. Listen to opinions you don’t agree with. It’s arrogant to assume your views are correct and other people are wrong. Practice empathy and put yourself in someone else’s shoes.Embrace different possibilities, opportunities, people, suggestions and interests. Ask questions. You don’t have to agree, but you may be surprised what you’ll learn.
9.Eat Local Food
Tasting local food is part of travel.Food is an unavoidable part of your travel.Taste a bit of everything when you travel, especially if you don’t know what it is. Ask local people for recommendations. Eat street food from vendors with big lines out front.
10.Break Out Of Your Comfort Zone
Challenge yourself to try things that normally give you anxiety. The more you do this, the more that anxiety will fade away. Not a hiker? Go on more hikes. Have trouble talking to strangers? Talk to everyone. Scared of weird food? Eat the weirdest thing you can find.
The reason this works so well while traveling is because everything is already so different, what’s one more new/uncomfortable experience?
11.Stay In Touch
Stay in touch with your relatives and friends and inform about your whereabouts from time to time. Maybe surprise them and go old-school by sending a postcard (it’s in the mail, Mom!). Travel isn’t lonely, far from it. You constantly meet other people. But many of those relationships are fleeting. So maintaining a strong connection with the people who know you best is important.
12.Read a local written Book
Learn about the local cultures and whereabouts of the locals. You get acknowledged about your circumstances and can adapt to the locals more closely.
13.Booking Flights is Essentials
Booking flights 3-4 months in advance to get the best price. And don’t drive yourself too crazy trying to get the absolute cheapest fare. Spending five hours to try to save $10 will cause you a lot of stress.
