There are more than 530 Hilton Hotels worldwide ,the Hilton University of Houston serves as the primary teaching facility for the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management since it's establishment from 1975.It incurred $12.5-million for it's renovation and opened a new hotel in April 2010.The extensive renovation combines contemporary style with authentic Houston hospitality, giving guests a vibrant, warm and welcoming home away from home and allowing hospitality students to gain hands-on experience in guest service, hotel operations and banquet and restaurant service.

The Hilton University of Houston is well decorated with 86 guest rooms including seven meeting rooms and three ballrooms with capacities ranging from 10 to 600 people.It consists of 25,000 square feet of flexible banquet space which is readily  available for the ideal destination  meetings, banquets, receptions and special events. Inaddition to it  business casual dining is available at Eric’s Restaurant, just off the hotel lobby. The Fred Parks Boardroom offers a stylish alternative venue for breakfast, lunch or dinner meetings and features a remarkable wine collection. The boardroom can accommodate customized menus with wine pairings for up to 28 people.

Degree Programs

Every programmes of Hilton is designed so as to help student cope up with the challenging environment of hospitality sector.The global completion and the rising aware customers have made the hospitality sector more demanding than ever.So the courses are made to help the students meet the demand of the growing industry and create their own specific impact on the industry.

BS in Hotel & Restaurant Management

This course combines traditional business courses in accounting, economics and law with social sciences, hospitality marketing, human resources and communications. This is a specialized business degree that requires students to complete 600 hours of industry related work experience.It create a personalized degree plan that focuses on the sector of hospitality that favour their interest.Students pursuing a career in the wine & spirits industry may also choose to earn a minor in beverage management and marketing.

MS in Hospitality Management

This program combines the core subject of business, management and research combined with hospiality marketing,food & beverage management, revenue management and a variety of electives.Earning this competive degree helps students be fit for the blooming industry of hospitality.The total semesters is of 36 credit hours which include a thesis or professional paper.Students with the equivalent of a U.S. four-year bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply.

MS/MBA

MS/MBA is a three-year degree is offered through a partnership between Hilton College and the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business. Through this program, students earn both an MS and MBA in less time than it would take to earn each degree independently. This degree requires a minimum of 63 semester hours. Students must apply separately to each program and meet admissions requirements for both. Once admitted into one of the program, students must gain admission to the second within one calendar year. Students receive two diplomas and must file for graduation with both degrees in the same semester.

Dual BS/MS

Those  students  who are wanting  to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and earn a Master of Science in Hospitality Management, the dual BS/MS offers an accelerated degree program to earn both in just five years. The dual BS/MS provides a clear and concise path toward accelerated academic goals and enables students to begin concentrated work on a professional focus in the hospitality industry during the final year of their BS degree plan. Students who are accepted into this program can complete 12 hours toward their MS degree as an undergraduate student, and the remaining credits for the MS can be completed in one additional calendar year as a graduate student.

MS in Global Hospitality Business

This unique course is a first of its kind degree that  is offered in partnership with Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.From it's first classes  that begin in September 2015 is truly global program that provide selected students with an extensive understanding of world markets and firsthand experience of local cultures across three continents. Students need to spend one semester in Switzerland, one in Hong Kong and one in Houston.Participating in a personalized capstone project, business field trips to global tourism hubs, and earning professional certifications along the way is complusion .Admission criteria and tuition for this degree program differ from other degrees offered at the College. 

Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration

This program is designed for students who wish to become hospitality researchers and/or professors at a research-oriented university. Specifically, the program provides students with the theoretical (conceptual) foundation, practical knowledge, research development and critical-thinking skills for hospitality administration.

Minor in Beverage Management and Marketing:

This  degree is designed to give students the expertise needed to pursue careers in the growing beverage management industry. Students must complete 16 credit hours to earn this minor, including courses on wine appreciation, beverage marketing and alcoholic beverage law and regulation. This minor degree is open to all students at the University of Houston—not just declared HRM majors.
